One of four kids, born and raised in Kitimat, I had the privilege of being brought up by parents who loved the Lord. They took the time to take us to church and Sunday School, as well as giving us a godly education in a Christian school.
I accepted Christ as a young boy but never really had an understanding of what kind of commitment He wanted from me until my teen years. As I got older and saw my friends either taking their own stand for Christ, or choosing to reject Him, I knew I had to make that choice for myself. I chose to follow Him, and began the journey of trust and faith that has lead me here today.
I have been a part of Thornhill Community Church since 2012. It has been a wonderful blessing for me to work with a group of godly men in the Adult Sunday School ministry preparing Bible study lessons. Being part of the worship team as the bass player and occasional drummer has given me an opportunity to use my gifting in music.
I answered the call to pastoral ministry in late 2014. Since then I have taken a Bible training course from the Patriot School of the Bible and have also been a part of the Biblical Eldership training here at TCC. I was officially brought on as Associate/Youth Pastor at TCC, on September 13, 2015. Preparing messages, planning events, as well as leading worship with the youth are some of my responsibilities as Youth Pastor.
I’ve been married to my wonderful wife Tracee since 1999 and we have two fabulous boys, Joshua, (2002) and Jaxon, (2015).
My heart is to see young people serve Christ with all of their being. My prayer is that young people become young adults that will be firmly planted in the body, serving the Lord with their gifts, and talents He has given them. My desire is that I can be a part of that, in the sharing of the gospel of Jesus Christ with them
