The purpose of this Church is to Glorify God through community worship, preaching of scripture, and consistent Christian living by its members.

We believe the sixty-six books of the Old and New Testament to be God’s written revelation to man. Therefore, those applying themselves to study its literal, contextual, historical-grammatical context can accurately understand God’s Word. All of scripture is the inspired, inerrant word of God; it must be the highest authority in our lives (1 Corinthians 2:7-14 | 2 Peter 1:20-21 | 2 Timothy 3:16-17).

We believe in the one living and true God (Deuteronomy 6:4 | Isaiah 45:5) eternally existing in perfect unity as three coequal persons (the Trinity), the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit (John 17:3 | Matthew 28:19-20).

We believe that God the Father, the first Person of the Trinity, created all things in six literal days in accordance to His own will (revelation 4:11 | Psalm 145:8-9 | 1 Corinthians 8:6) through His Son, Jesus Christ. He is the only absolute and omnipotent ruler in the universe, upholding all things by the Word of His power and grace, exercising sovereignty over all creation, providence and redemption (Colossians 1:17 | Hebrews 1:3 | Psalm 103:19 | Romans 11:36).

We believe that Jesus Christ, the second Person of the Trinity, in accordance with the will of God the Father, took on human flesh (John 1:1, 14, 18), conceived through the work of the Holy Spirit (Luke 1:35)and was born of the virgin Mary (Matthew 1:18 | Galatians 4:4-5 ). The two whole and distinct natures, the divine and the human, joined together in one person; therefore Jesus is fully God and fully man (John 14:8-9 | Colossians 2:9 | John 16:30). He lived a sinless life and sacrificially shed His blood and died on the cross in our place accomplishing redemption for those who the Father has given to Him (John 14, 15, 16). He rose to life from the dead on the third day, ascended to Heaven, and sits at the right hand of God the Father (1 Timothy 3:16). He is the only Savior and Mediator between God and man (1 Timothy 2:5) and He will return to earth in power and glory to consummate His redemptive mission (1 Timothy 3:16).

We believe that the Holy Spirit, the third Person of the Trinity, convicts the world of sin, righteousness and judgement; glorifying the Lord Jesus Christ and transforming believers into the Image of Christ (Romans 8:29 | 2 Corinthians 3:18 | Ephesians 2:22). He draws the unredeemed to repentance and faith and at salvation imparts new spiritual life to the believer, bringing that person into union with Christ and the Body of Christ. We believe that the work of the Holy Spirit in this age began at Pentecost when He came from the Father as promised by Christ (John 14:16-17 | John 15:26), to initiate and complete the building of the body of Christ, which is His Church (1 Corinthians 12:13). The Holy Spirit administers gifts to the Church for the building up of the body (Ephesians 2:10 | Romans 12:4-8 | 1 Peter 4:10). The Holy Spirit empowers, guides, teaches, fills, sanctifies, instructs, comforts, equips and permanently indwells at salvation (2 Thessalonians 2:13 | Romans 8:9-17 | Hebrews 2:1-4
 Galatians 5:22-23).

We believe that God created mankind – male and female – in His own image and likeness, free of sin, with a rational nature, intelligent, volition, self-determination and moral responsibility to God. God’s intention in the creation of man was that man should glorify Him and enjoy God’s fellowship (Genesis 1:26-28 | Genesis 2:7, 15-25). Man freely chose to disobey God, through temptation by Satan; bringing sin, death and condemnation to all mankind. All of mankind is therefore, totally depraved by nature and by choice. Alienated from God without defense or excuse and subject to God’s righteous wrath; all of mankind is in desperate need of the Savior (Genesis 3:1-6 | Romans 3:10-19 | Romans 1:18, 32).

We believe salvation is wholly of God by sovereign grace on the basis of the redemption of Jesus Christ, the merit of his shed blood, and not on the basis of human merit or works (John 1:12 | Ephesians 1:7 | Ephesians 2:8-10 | 1 Peter 1:18-10). Before creation, God chose those who would be saved and granted them unearned grace (Romans 8:28-30 | Ephesians 1:4-11 | 2 Thessalonians 2:13 | 2 Timothy 2:10). Jesus Christ’s death on the cross was the sole and complete payment for sins, fully satisfying God’s righteous wrath, for each person that turns from sin in repentance and places their faith in Christ alone, by grace alone (2 Corinthians 4:21). At salvation each person is made a new creation by the Holy Spirit, declared righteous before God and secured as an adopted child of God forever. Genuine regeneration is manifested by fruits worthy of repentance as demonstrated in righteous attitudes and conduct. Genuine faith continues in obedience and love for Jesus Christ with a life eager to glorify God and persevere to the end (Romans 8:37-39).

We believe that marriage is created by God between one biological man and one biological woman, in a lifelong holy covenant, for the purpose of companionship, sexual intimacy, and procreation. God designed sexual intimacy to be expressed and consummated only between a man and a woman when they are united as one flesh in marriage (Genesis 1:27-28, 2:24 | Matthew 19:4-6). Men and women are created in the image of God and stand equal in dignity and worth. (Genesis 1:27 | Genesis 9:6 | Galatians 3:28 | James 3:9). Jesus makes men and women fellow heirs of God’s eternal grace (1 Peter 3:7) who differ in complementary and mutually beneficial ways.

We believe that the one universal Church, body of Christ, is made up of all those who have put their faith in the Lord Jesus Christ as Savior, of which Jesus Christ is the Head. The Scriptures command believers to gather locally in order to devote themselves to worship, prayer, teaching of the Word, fellowship, the ordinances of baptism and communion, service to the local body through the development and use of talents and gifts, and to spread the gospel in our local community and abroad (Win, Teach, Send) (Ephesians 1:22-23 | Acts 2:42-46 | Matthew 28:18-20). A church’s members are to work together in love and unity, intent on the ultimate purpose of glorifying Christ (Ephesians 4:16).

We believe that Christian baptism is a public declaration of the believer’s salvation in Christ, identifying with Christ in His death, burial, and resurrection symbolized by full immersion in water. The Lord’s Supper is the united commemoration by believers of Christ’s death until He comes and should be preceded by a careful self-examination (Acts 2:41 | Romans 6:2-6 | Romans 6:3-6 | 1 Corinthians 11:20-29).
